Our Journey

From Concept to Creation

Founders' Vision

Scott Page had one thought: There had to be a better way to handle tools and supplies while working in a crawl space. Several iterations later, after homemade containers solved part of the problem, CrawlBuddy was born to meet the needs of all professionals who have to crawl around tight spaces.

Scott presented the potential product concept to long-time friend and supply chain industry entrepreneur Greg Hathaway in November 2021. After a brief discussion, the vision clicked for Greg, and they began working together to finetune the design and add the main features, including the webbing cutter and zip tie channel. After brainstorming with Scott’s son, Lance, they added another incredible feature: a lid that converts to a towable sled extension, known as its “caboose.”

After ten months of grueling planning, modeling, testing, and drawings, CrawlBuddy production began, and the first units were launched and available for purchase in January of 2023.
