CrawlBuddy was invented and co-founded by Scott Page and Greg Hathaway.  Like any other successful product development, CrawlBuddy was invented due to the need to solve a problem.  Scott Page knew there had to be a better way to manage handling his tools and supplies while working in crawl space (he was an HVAC Contractor himself).  He made homemade containers that helped, but he wanted to help the world of contractors that struggled just as he had in his line of work.

Scott presented the potential product idea to a long time friend and entrepreneur of the supply chain industry, Greg Hathaway, in November of 2021.  After a quick discussion, Greg immediately saw the vision Scott had seen, and they began working together to fine tune the design to add the main features like the webbing cutter and the zip tie channel.  After several weeks both were brainstorming features with Scott’s son, Lance Page, they added yet another awesome feature to the design to have a lid that converts to a towable sled extension they have called the “caboose”.

After 10 months of grueling planning, modeling, testing, and drawings, CrawlBuddy began production and planned to launch the first units available for purchase in January, 2023.
